I was born in Northampton, England in 1977. I studied at St. Andrews and Edinburgh Universities.  I've also lived in Liverpool and, for the past 12 years, in various bits of London where I'm a journalist for Radio 4.
 

I've written three novels. Two of them are currently for sale and another is on submission at the moment. I'm a member of an amazing writers group in central London.

When I'm not writing or editing I can be found running along the river, cooking for my friends and wondering what I'll write next. 

I've always been interested in the future, that's reflected in all my novels. My favourite authors include Margaret Atwood, Sebastian Faulks and William Gibson, but there are many, many others.
